TNXT: Team No Excuses Training

While ‘no excuses’ is often pushed as “do it all, no matter what, no excuses”, it means something else on this team. It means we work hard, we make effective choices, we utilize good awareness of our goals and also our present abilities, we tell no lies, and we achieve. When you do all of those things, the excuses aren’t necessary. It becomes “I did all of these things this week, and that is why” or “I did not do all of my ____ this week, and here is why.” Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan. Sometimes when we do our best, even when ‘our best’ isn’t what we thought it would be. Maybe you’re struggling with something at work, or in your personal life, or maybe your mental health doesn’t support the same type of activity it did a year ago. By taking ownership of those things, instead of leaning into excuses, we create space for grace, results, sustainable action, and personal power.

When we can take ownership of our decisions, we don’t need the excuses. There is room for grace and moments where we fail to hit our optimal outcome, and there is room for progressing forward.
